As part of Aphasia Awareness Month, I paid a visit to the Aphasia Centre of Ottawa for their fundraiser potluck. Aphasia is an impairment of language, affecting the production or comprehension of speech and the ability to read or write, and is a common side effect of those who experience a stroke.
It was great to join Stephanie Isaacs, and the rest of the team at the Aphasia Centre of Ottawa to better understand the important work they do.
