I joined Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and fellow Members of Parliament Mona Fortier and Francis Drouin in Orleans, Ontario to announce the new CMHC First-Time Home Buyer Incentive, introduced in the 2019 Federal Budget. Under this incentive, the CMHC would use up to $1.25 billion over three years to help lower mortgage costs for eligible Canadians.

We understand that for many Canadians and their families. finding an affordable place to call home is not just a challenge, but impossible. to combat this, our Government is making significant investments to help Canadians find an affordable place to call home, and make the housing market more fair.
