Today, I joined Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, along with fellow MPs Anita Vandenbeld and Karen McCrimmon at BlackBerry QNX in Kanata to announce our government's $40 million investment in the development of autonomous vehicles.

This is great news for our country! With the help of the investment, the company will create over 800 new middle class jobs over the next 10 years, and maintain nearly 300 more.

BlackBerry QNX will develop new automated control systems, upgrade and secure communications in vehicles, and improve vehicle safety and security by expanding its advanced driver-assistance system.
