I’m happy to announce our government has awarded funding to Nepean-based company, General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada, for the enhancement of the Canadian Armed Forces’ Integrated IT systems.
The contracts have a combined value of $621.5 million and will help sustain approximately 494 highly skilled jobs in Nepean and Calgary.
The funding will bring about job growth in Nepean and foster economic benefits to Canadians while supporting the operations of the Canadian Army, and exemplify our commitment to deliver on the vital goals set out in Strong, Secure, Engaged.
Our government values the brave and vital work our men and women in uniform do, that’s why we’re working to build a more active, better-equipped military, while supporting Canadian businesses at the same time.
