It was a pleasure to join Hon.Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Nov. 14 to announce a $20-million investment in Ranovus through the Strategic Innovation Fund. The Ottawa-based company is a leader in the development of cost-efficient energy connectivity solutions for data centres and communications networks.

The investment, which will help create 566 jobs, will go towards creating a brand new Ottawa facility to bring back to Canada the advanced manufacturing and testing of Ranovus’ products, and support future growth of the company and expansion of collaborations with private companies, post-secondary and research institutions and not-for-profit organizations.
